BARTLETT IS FINALIST FOR JOB IN S.C.

Montgomery County Superintendent Herman Bartlett is one step closer to the beach.

Friday, the School Board in Horry County, S.C., announced Bartlett is one of five finalists to fill the top job. Interviews will begin on March 18, but the board did not say when the choice would be made.

Bartlett, whose contract was not renewed by the Montgomery County School Board, will be leaving in June.
