TECH RESEARCH CENTER TO GET NEW BUILDING

The Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center is constructing a building to provide room for tenants that don't need laboratory space.

Construction of the 39,000-square-foot structure is scheduled to be completed in the fall.

Several of the center's tenants will move to the new building. Their vacated space is available for lease, with occupancy in the fall. The center houses 65 organizations with 1,000 employees.
