VOLUNTEERS SOUGHT FOR FUN COMMITTEE

The Montgomery County School system is looking for volunteers to join the FUN committee. The Facility Use/Needs committee will develop potential uses for vacated schools such as Bethel Elementary and Christiansburg Middle schools, then recommend those to the School Board.

The committee will consist of two representatives from each attendance strand - Auburn, Blacksburg, Christiansburg and Shawsville. An educator, a community member and central office administrators will also serve on the committee. For more information, call Larry Schoff, director of facilities maintenance and transportation, at 382-5141 no later than Thursday.
