SURVIVING PETS PROGRAM OFFERED BY HUMANE SOCIETY

The Humane Society of Montgomery County is offering a new program for pets that outlive their owners.

The Surviving Pet Adoption Program gives pet owners confidence their pets will be taken care of when they die or become seriously ill. Pets enrolled in the program will go to a foster family or the Humane Society's no-kill shelter until they are adopted.

A donation and simple paperwork is required to enroll. For information, call the society at 382-1166.
