City police arrested two teen-agers Tuesday afternoon after they were spotted driving a truck stolen from a city employee.
Police said they arrested a 13-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy on charges of grand larceny about 1:30 p.m.
The victim, city employee David Saul Jr., reported his pickup truck had been stolen from the employee parking lot at the city shop on 17th Street.
Police Chief A.C. Earles spotted the teen-agers driving the truck. With the assistance of Deputy Chief Jonny Butler and other officers, the boys were arrested.
The boys are being held in a juvenile detention home in Christiansburg. No court date has been set in the case.
