Ladies Day debuts at Northside
Leave the guys at home to watch whatever sport is in season or preseason, and head to Northside High School on Saturday for ``Ladies Day at Northside,'' a gathering of businesses and civic clubs you've wanted to know more about but didn't have time to run all over town to learn.
Under one roof, you can find places to pamper yourself, start a hobby, donate your time and energy, buy gifts, learn how to look and feel better, plan vacations, meet others with similar interests and, in general, spend time with other women at a day for women.
There'll be lots of door prizes, too. The event is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $2; children under 12 are free, but you and they will probably be happier if you leave them at home with some pizzas.
