EASTER SUNRISE SERVICES

The Peaks of Otter Visitor's Center, milepost 86 on the Blue Ridge Parkway, plans a nondenominational Easter sunrise service at 7, rain or shine. The Rev. Jerry Parr, from Suck Springs Baptist Church, will conduct the service.

Calvary United Methodist Church, 845 Hemlock Road, Salem, will hold Easter sunrise services at 7 and 11. The Rev. Nelson Harris of Ridgewood Baptist Church, Salem, will present the message. For more information, call 344-6380.

A Community Easter Sunrise Worship Service, sponsored by Sherwood Memorial Park and Salem Ministers' Conference, will be held at Sherwood Memorial Park Amphitheater, 1045 Lynchburg Turnpike, Salem, at 7. The Rev. Will Iler, chaplain, Lewis-Gale Medical Center, will conduct the service. Salem Wesleyan Church, 424 Chamberlain Lane, will be the location in case of rain.

Green Ridge Baptist Church, 5521 Green Ridge Road N.W., plans an Easter sunrise service at 6:30. A continental breakfast will follow.

Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 6262 Country Club Road, Troutville, will hold an Easter sunrise service on the church grounds at 7:30.

Connelly Memorial Baptist Church, 3907 Hershberger Road N.W., will hold an Easter sunrise service on the lawn at 6:30.

The 60th Annual Easter Sunrise Service, sponsored by Roanoke Christian Endeavors, will be held at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, 5070 Cove Road N.W., at 6:30. The Rev. Brian Robinson from Christian Lighthouse Ministries will speak. In case of rain, the service will be held at Melrose Christian Church, 4807 Cove Road N.W.

First Church of God, 5008 Hildebrand Road N.W., will hold an Easter sunrise service at 6. on the front lawn. Breakfast will be provided following worship.

Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 6262 Country Club Road, is sponsoring an Easter sunrise service on church grounds at 7:30. The service will be moved inside if it rains. Breakfast will be served at 8.

Connelly Memorial Baptist Church, 3907 Hershberger Road N.W., will hold an Easter sunrise service on the lawn at 6:30. If it rains, the service will be held in the church sanctuary.

Peters Creek Church of the Brethren, 5333 Cove Road N.W., is sponsoring an Easter sunrise service on the church lawn at 7:30. The service will be moved to the sanctuary if it rains. Breakfast will follow at 8. For more information, call 562-4346.
