AUTHOR TO SPEAK AT ROANOKE'S HARRISON MUSEUM

Robert C. Smith, author of ``They Closed Their Doors: Prince Edward County, 1951-1964,'' will speak at the Harrison Museum of African American Culture in Roanoke on Thursday at 7 p.m. His appearance is sponsored by Hollins College, the Roanoke Chapter of the NAACP and the Roanoke Valley Ministers Conference in cooperation with the Harrison Museum.

In her February 16 review of the book in this newspaper's book page, Margaret Grayson wrote, ``It is history - objective and unbiased.''
