          Alpha Order fraternity at Roanoke College runs up U.S. 11 in 
          Botetourt County carrying a lacrosse, or ``lax,'' stick with the 
          game ball the Maroons would use against Washington and Lee 
          University in Lexington on Saturday. Sixteen Kappa Alpha members 
          took part in the annual "Lax to Lex" 53-mile charity relay run from 
          Salem, raising $1,500. color.
