          at the Star City Model Expo at the Roanoke Civic Center. The plane, 
          built to one-third scale by Buddy Purdue of Salem, has a 116-inch 
          wingspan. Radio-controlled planes and cars and model trains were on 
          display at the show, sponsored by the Roanoke Valley Radio Control
