The Downtown Merchants of Blacksburg are now accepting applications for the fifth annual undergraduate scholarship awards. The merchants association will award two scholarships of $1,000 each to qualified rising sophomores, juniors or seniors at Virginia Tech.
Candidiates will be judged on the basis of grade point average, extracurricular activities, special interests and letters of recommendation. Applications are available at Downtown Merchants of Blacksburg member location. Deadline for applications is April 21. For more information, call 552-1020.
