Neil Simon play at Virginia Western
``Lost In Yonkers,'' Neil Simon's Pulitzer Prize-winning play, will be performed at Virginia Western Community College today through Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m.
The play is a comedic drama about an American family at war with themselves and their relatives in Europe, who are victims of the Holocaust.
The performance will be held in Whitman Auditorium. Admission is by donation. For more information, call 857-7327.
City will mail tax-relief forms
Applications for real estate tax relief for elderly and permanently disabled homeowners will be mailed Monday by the Roanoke Commissioner of Revenue's office.
To qualify, a homeowner has to be permanently disabled or have turned 65 by Dec. 31, 1996.

Shakespeare festival holds auditions
The third annual Roanoke Valley Shakespeare Festival will hold auditions for its upcoming season April 13, 1 to 5 p.m., at Virginia Western Community College's Whitman Auditorium.
Actors, singers and dancers should come prepared to do a short scene, read from the script and learn a simple dance routine. Singers should bring a prepared song. A pianist will be available for accompaniment.
MS Walk set for April 12
The seventh annual MS Walk will take place April 12 at 10 a.m. from Patrick Henry High School. The walk consists of a one- to two-mile route accessible for people with disabilities.

Fashion show will benefit hospice
The Good Samaritan Hospice and the Roanoke chapter of the American Sewing Guild are sponsoring a fashion show, "Threads for Hospice - By Design," on April 20 at 2 p.m. at the Hotel Roanoke and Conference Center. The event will include a silent auction and door prizes. Tickets are $5 in advance and $6 at the door. All proceeds will benefit Good Samaritan Hospice.

Virginia Western sets open house
Virginia Western Community College, 3095 Colonial Ave. S.W., will hold an open house April 26 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Prospective students may obtain information on admission and financial aid, talk with faculty members and tour the campus. Registration for a $300 scholarship, as well as prizes and refreshments, will be available.
