For the first time in four years Crayola is introducing eight new crayon colors - and you can help name them!
Crayola wants to name a new crayon after your personal hero. They want to name the crayon after the person you look up to, the person you most admire or the person who has set a good example for you.
Your hero can be a parent, a brother or sister, a teacher, even a celebrity!
Eight "heroes" will be chosen to have crayons named after them. The name of the hero and the name of the kid who nominated them will appear on the new crayons.
The heroes and the nominees will also receive trips to the Crayola factory where they will be inducted into the Crayola Hall of Fame.
To enter, draw a picture of your True Blue Hero on an 81/2-by-11-inch piece of paper, and write a brief description on the back describing why this person is your hero. Also, tell which one of the eight new colors - which you can see in special boxes of Crayola crayons - should have your hero's name on it and why.
Include your full name, complete address and age at the bottom of the description. Write your age on the front of the envelope, too.
Send your picture and description to: Crayola Crayons True Blue Heroes Contest, P.O. Box 3546, Easton, Pa. 18043-3546. Entries must be postmarked before May 15.
Good luck!
