Pulaski County Supervisor Charles Cook said his only comment at Monday night's joint meeting between the supervisors and School Board involved the possibility of using the county's school needs as leverage to obtain more state funding. He said he did not call the School Board's request for a $2.3 million increase in local funding a "no-brainer," as reported in Wednesday's Current.
