A dispute between a husband and wife resulted in a criminal charge Sunday evening against the wife, according to town police.
Lt. Gary Brumfield said officers arrested Norma M. Grandy, 38, on a charge of malicious wounding about 9:45 p.m. Police said Grandy used a knife to slash her husband's face.
Her husband, Albert J. Grandy, 53, was treated for the laceration at Columbia Montgomery Regional Hospital.
The couple lives in the 400 block of Stone Street. No court date has been set in the case.
