Blood Screening. The Christiansburg-Blacksburg Rotary Club is offering a reduced-price blood-screening as a club fund-raiser. For $25, participants will be tested for more than 30 blood components, including cholesterol, iron, sodium and glucose. Some tests relate directly to bones, heart, kidneys and electrolytes. Participants should fast for 12 hours before being tested.
Screenings are held at Columbia Montgomery Regional Hospital, Saturday, 6:30 a.m.-10 a.m. Walk-ins are accepted at any times.
