RICHMOND MAN'S CAR STOLEN BY PAIR IN SOUTHWEST ROANOKE THIEF WAS CARRYING SHOTGUN

Also, three men robbed and beat a 28-year-old woman Sunday on Chapman Avenue Southwest.

A 28-year-old Richmond man was held at gunpoint and his car stolen late Monday in Southwest Roanoke.

Michael Wayne Martin was at an apartment in the 1000 block of Patterson Avenue about 11:05 p.m. when a man entered the apartment with a shotgun. The man held the gun to Martin's mouth. The man, along with a woman inside the apartment, took Martin's keys and left in his 1987 Pontiac Sunbird. No one was injured.

In another incident, a 28-year-old woman was robbed and beaten in Southwest Roanoke late Sunday.

About 11:20 p.m., Terry Lee Combs was in the 1600 block of Chapman Avenue when three men approached her. They knocked her to the ground, beat her and took $50 from her pants pocket. She was treated for bruises at Carilion Roanoke Community Hospital.
