Roanoker thankful car was found

Dear Neighbors:

I would just like to say thank you to the sharp-eyed person on Stanley Avenue. My car was stolen from my house on Friday night, Feb. 21; and although the police had put an APB out on it, I feared I would never see it again.

It was wonderful to hear that the police had received a call from someone on Stanley Avenue that a car had been parked there for two days. It was my car, undamaged, and it is now safely home.

If you had not been so observant or had not taken the time to call, it is hard to imagine what might have happened to the car. Thank you again, whoever you are.
