Partnership with the Poor: A Religious Response to Welfare Reform, a workshop sponsored by Roanoke Area Ministries, is scheduled at Second Presbyterian Church, 214 Mountain Ave. S.W., on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Registration is $10 per person and must be received no later than Friday at RAM, 824 Campbell Ave S.W., Room 5. A praise and worship gathering is scheduled Saturday at Belmont United Methodist Church, 806 Jamison Ave. S.E., from 7 to 9 p.m. Mount Pleasant and Rockingham Court United Methodist churches will be among those attending. A nursery is provided.

A parenting seminar is sponsored by Cave Spring Baptist Church, 4873 Brambleton Ave., from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Sunday, with humorist and storyteller Walter Moore speaking. A Red Cross bloodmobile will take donations April 24 from noon to 7 p.m. at St. Philip Lutheran Church, 8115 Williamson Road. A form of identification is necessary to give blood.

John Hagee, author and evangelist from San Antonio, Texas, will hold a citywide crusade at the Roanoke Civic Center at 7:30 p.m. April 24 and 25. Music will be presented by Cornerstone Singers and Crusade orchestra. Admission is free, but an offering will be accepted. |REVIVAL SERVICES| Mineral Springs Baptist Church, Vinton, will hold a revival Sunday through Wednesday with evangelist John Wilton from Mississippi. Services Sunday are at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m.; Monday through Wednesday, at 7 p.m. A nursery will be provided. For more information, call 890-4465.

Bethel Baptist Church, 1601 Colorado St., Salem, is presenting revival services April 20 to 24 led by the Rev. Dale Riddle. Sunday programs are at 10:55 a.m. and 7 p.m.; programs Monday through Thursday are at 7 p.m. A nursery is provided.

Green Ridge Baptist Church, 5521 Green Ridge Road N.W., will hold revival celebrations Sunday through Wednesday. The Youth Handbell Choirs of First Presbyterian Church of Roanoke and Harvest Ministries Church of God of Prophecy of Blue Ridge will participate in the program. |PEOPLE| Mary Eden Wohlford, daughter of Trudy and Michael Wohlford of Roanoke, has returned from an 18-month evangelistic ministry with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Santiago West Mission in Chile.

Wohlford is a 1992 graduate of Cave Spring High School and attended Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho.
