Explore Tech 1997, a hands-on science and engineering exposition designed for K-8 school children, continues today, 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Squires Student Center's Commonwealth Ballroom on the Virginia Tech campus.
Hosted by The Center for Intelligent Material Systems and Structures, a research center within the Department of Mechanical Engineering, the event features stage shows on chemistry, bicycles, electricity and other topics. The shows are scheduled to rotate throughout the day and are open to the public.
