CHAMBER AWARDS ANNOUNCED

The Christiansburg & Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce held its 47th Annual Membership Dinner/Dance Thursday night at the Blacksburg Holiday Inn.

The following awards were presented: Truman K. Daniel Jr., was named the Distinguished Citizen of the Year; Blacksburg's Anderson & Associates Inc. received the Commerce award; Rebekah A. Stump was given the chamber's Outstanding Service award.

The chamber's new president is J. Gregory Scull.
