Brawl conviction

Virginia Tech's former starting fullback, Brian Edmonds, pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor disorderly conduct charge Friday in Montgomery County Circuit Court. Edmonds was among eight former and current Tech football players arrested on assault charges after a brawl on College Avenue last August left another student with a broken collarbone.
