         Forty-three nations were represented at last weekend's Local Colors 
      festival in Roanoke. A caption in Monday's newspaper put the number too 
      low.

          KATYA BROZYNA, 6 (left), Gregory Malysa, 8, and  Sylvia Zukowski, 4,
          are all dressed up in the native dress of  Krakow, Poland, for 
          Sunday's Local Colors  festival in downtown  Roanoke. The day began 
          with a Parade of Nations down  Jefferson  Street and included 
          dancing and music of at least 10 nations. At  Mill Mountain 
          Theatre's Theatre B, sixth-, seventh-, eighth- and  ninth-graders 
          from  the Community School performed an interpretation of the 
          on-going effects of the Vietnam War. Story on C1.  color.
