In other police reports over the weekend, two men were shot in separate incidents on Gandy Drive.
A 23-year-old woman was pulled from her car and spat upon by an unidentified male motorist on Interstate 581 Saturday afternoon.
Police said a bottleneck slowed traffic near Hershberger Road about 4:20 p.m. Whitney Hollingsworth pulled into the right lane and a man in a large car pulled alongside her, beeping and yelling obscenities. The man pulled in front of her, forcing her to stop. He got out of his car, then accosted Hollingsworth as he tried to pull her from her car.
A passing motorist yelled at them to get out of traffic, police said. The man assaulting Hollingsworth got back into his car and fled. Hollingsworth, who was not seriously injured, gave police his license plate number. Police said it was not clear what motivated the attack.
