Raises at Tech

Teachers and research faculty members at Virginia Tech will get an average salary increase of 6 percent in the 1997-98 academic year, while administrative and professional faculty will get an average of 4 percent. The Virginia Tech Board of Visitors also agreed Monday to increases in student fees over the next few years. For details, see today's Virginia section.
