WILSON ROLLS TO BIG VICTORY SALEM DRIVER WINS

Dicky Wilson sets the pace to win the Late Model Stock race at Victory Stadium.

Dicky Wilson of Salem took the lead on the opening lap and never looked back, winning the Acme Business Machines 200 on Friday night at Victory Stadium Speedway.

Wilson won the 50-lap Late Model Stock feature for the second consecutive week. Promoter Danny Taylor placed a $500 bounty on Wilson for the May 2 event, but, ``I don't think anyone is going to collect it,'' Wilson said.

Pole-winner Skip Bennington of Roanoke finished second. Tommy Crozier of Roanoke was third.

Winners in other divisions were: David Duncan of Rocky Mount, Mini Stock; Red Hartman of Boones Mill, Pure Stock; Tommy Hall of Boones Mill, Rookie; and Larry Avery of Forest, Classic.
