LEONARD WALKER

{LEAD} Leonard Walker, 60, of the 500 block of Dinwiddie St., died May 29, 1994, in his home.

Mr. Walker was born in Portsmouth, son of the late Pauline and Thomas Walker Sr. He was a self-employed TV technician. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a recipient of the National Defense Service Medal and the Korean Service Medal.

{REST} Survivors include four children; one sister, Evelyn Walker Evans of Laurel, Md.; two brothers, Thomas Walker Jr. and Horace Walker, both of Portsmouth; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery by the Rev. Bruce Childs. Viewing will be today from noon to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Family and friends will assemble at 1628 Leckie St., Portsmouth, at 12:15 p.m. for the processional to the cemetery. Serenity Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
