{REST} Residential Breaking and Entering: 8000 block Crittenden Road, May 19, someone entered a home through a bathroom window and took a half-gallon bottle of Early Times Whiskey, a three-foot-tall plastic coke bottle containing $150, a man's gold wedding ring with five diamonds valued at $900 and a woman's gold wedding ring with three diamonds valued at $1,000. A toolbox and tools valued at $800 and a Craftsman compressor valued at $400 were taken from an outside storage shed.
Residential Breaking and Entering: 6100 block College Drive, May 20, a woman reported that someone kicked in her front door. Missing are a photograph and a 1980 Chevrolet pickup.
Arson: 6200 block Skeet Road, May 22, someone started a fire at the front and rear doors of a home.
Grand Larceny: 2800 block South nansemond Drive, May 24, someone took a woman's heart-shaped ruby ring valued at $5,000 and a diamond solitaire ring valued at $1,000.
Shed Breaking and Entering: Driver Lane and Bennetts Pasture Road, May 24, someone broke the door off a tool shed and took an air compressor.
\ DISTRICT B\ Hit-and-Run Property Damage: Kings Fork Road, May 19, a man reported that someone struck his 1989 Chevrolet Van.
Felonious Assault: Godwin Boulevard, May 20, a juvenile on a school bus struck the victim in the right hand, breaking a finger.
Felonious Assault: Godwin Boulevard, May 21, a woman reported that she was stabbed in the stomach and left side with a large fork and kitchen knife.
Felonious Assault: Godwin Boulevard, May 21, a man reported that he was stabbed in the chest.

Attempted Armed Robbery: 100 block South Wellons Street, May 19, a man reported that three male suspects told him to ``give it up'' and then shot him in the left foot with a revolver.
Vandalism: 1200 block North Main Street, May 19, a woman reported that someone scratched her vehicle.
Trespassing (Conceal Weapon): 400 block Wilson Street, May 19, a suspect was charged with trespassing. During a search, a weapon was found.
Strong Arm Robbery: 800 block West Constance Road, May 20, a woman reported that a suspect snatched her purse.
Forgery/Uttering: 1400 block North Main Street, May 20, a man reported that a suspect stole a check and cashed it at Central Fidelity Bank.
Grand Larceny: 200 block North Main Street, May 20, a man reported that a suspect used his identification card to cash a check in the amount of $396.
Attempted Escape: 400 block Market Street, May 20, two suspects removed molding from a courtroom holding cell and used it to punch a hole in the ceiling.

Armed Robbery: 200 block Lee Street, May 25, a man said that two male suspects pushed him into a doorway, held a handgun to his head, said ``give it up'' and took $15.
Grand Larceny Auto: 200 block North Street, May 25, a man said that someone took a vehicle parked in front of his home.
House Breaking and Entering: 400 block Linden Avenue, May 25, someone took a VCR, a cable box, a Browning 12-gauge shotgun and a Sega game box.
\ DISTRICT D\ Petty Larceny: North Lloyd Street and Clarys Drive, May 19, a woman reported that four male suspects and one female suspect took her purse, which contained $40 in cash and $17 in food stamps.
Possession of Concealed Weapon: Factory Street and Madison Avenue, May 19, police found a .25-caliber pistol and a folding, 4 1/2-inch knife during a search.
Vandalism: 600 block County Street, May 20, a woman reported that someone threw two bricks at her 1985 Plymouth.
Vandalism: 600 block Cummings Drive, May 20, someone broke a right side window of a vehicle. Damage was estimated at $90.
Residential Breaking and Entering: 300 block Hill Street, May 20, someone entered a home and took a Sanyo 20-inch color TV.
Petty Larceny: 100 block Beech Street, May 20, someone broke a vehicle window and removed four boxes of doughnuts valued at $10.
Throwing Missiles at an Occupied Vehicle: Hollywood Avenue and Center Avenue, May 21, a man reported that he heard something strike his vehicle while driving past a group of about 10 male suspects. When he got out to check for damage one of the suspects struck him in the face. When the complainant fled down Ben Street, one of the suspects put his vehicle in gear, and it struck a ditch.
Grand Larceny: 2500 block East Washington Street, May 21, someone broke a car vent window and removed an AM/FM cassette stereo valued at $225. Damage was estimated at $100.
Grand Larceny: 100 block Halifax Street, May 21, someone entered a vehicle and took an inspection sticker, a blue and green bag containing cassettes valued at $1,000, a Blaupunkt AM/FM cassette stereo valued at $600, a Realistic Optimus equalizer valued at $39 and a Realistic Equalizer valued at $39.
Residential Breaking and Entering: 200 block Pinner Street, May 21, someone cut a screen, unlocked a window and took a Kenmore vacuum cleaner.
Petty Larceny (Third Offense): 1200 block White Marsh Road, May 21, a suspect entered Rite Aid, placed four packs of Dial soap into a plastic bag and left without paying.
Armed Robbery: 400 block East Washington Street, May 22, a man said he was approached by two male suspects, who took his keys and $23 in cash. The men fled in the complainant's 1986 Dodge Lancer.
Third Offense Larceny: 500 block East Constance Road, May 22, a suspect took 15 packages of Delmonico steaks valued at $80.89.
Grand Larceny Auto: 1100 block Cogic Square, May 22, a man reported that two individuals began shooting at him and several other people seated in a vehicle. When they fled on foot, the suspect got in the vehicle and drove until it ran off the roadway.
Vandalism: 1100 block Cogic Square, May 22, someone broke a window and fired a gun into a bedroom wall and ceiling.
Petty Larceny: 400 block North Main Street, May 22, someone took two 12-packs of Schlitz malt liquor valued at $10.43.
Malicious Wounding: 2200 block East Washington Street, May 22, a man reported that he was stabbed in the ribs by a suspect while fighting with a third person.
Vandalism: 600 block Hollywood Avenue, May 23, someone damaged the driver's side rearview mirror on a vehicle.
Petty Larceny: 200 block Bunch Avenue, May 23, a man said that his front license plate is missing.
Grand Larceny: 100 block South Ninth Street, May 24, a man reported that someone broke into his vehicle and took a Kenwood cassette player and an inspection sticker.
