The event is ``Summer Celebration 1994,'' sponsored by the city Department of Parks and Recreation.

There is plenty to eat and drink and, of course, plenty of entertainment - a mix of pop, rock and country by performers who are familiar to the area. Most of them have played at Summer Celebration in seasons past.
Performances are from 5 to 8 p.m.
Here's the lineup:
June 17: Undercover, top-40.
July 1: The Rhondels, top-40.
July 8: The Lyrics, big band sound.
July 15: Island Boy, country rock.
July 29: Showcase, a local top-40 group whose members are in high school.
Aug. 12: North Tower, top-40.
Aug. 26: The Good Life Band, top-40
Sept. 9: Southern Blend, country rock.
