THOMAS J. COSTELLO

{LEAD} Thomas J. Costello, 79, of Virginia Beach, died May 31, 1994, in a Virginia Beach hospital.

Mr. Costello was a retired insurance executive with Equitable Life Assurance Society. He was a native of Gloucester, N.J., and was a member of St. Aidans Episcopal Church in Virginia Beach.

{REST} Survivors include his wife, Jean Baxter Costello; one son, Michael D. Costello and one grandson, Gregory Michael Costello, both of Chesapeake; and two nieces.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in St. Aidans Episcopal Church by the Rev. Crigger. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Princess Anne Plaza Volunteer Rescue Squad, 3610 South Plaza Trail, Virginia Beach, Va. 23452. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, is handling arrangements.
