WILLIAM H. GOODMAN JR.

{LEAD} William H. Goodman Jr., of the 1400 block of Quiet Court, a carpet installer, died May 31, 1994, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

Mr. Goodman was born in Norfolk County and was employed with Goodman Carpet Service for 30 years. He was a member of Mount Gilead Baptist Church, Norfolk.

{REST} Survivors include his wife, Nellie I. Goodman; two daughters; two sons; four grandchildren; three uncles; four aunts; several cousins; five sisters-in-law; and one brother-in-law.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Mount Gilead Baptist Church, Norfolk, by the Rev. Raymond Dean. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake. Viewing will begin at 10 a.m. Friday in Corprew Funeral Home. The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. Saturday.
