PARKING:
TRT is not operating the Harborfest shuttle service this year. Instead, parking is available at all downtown Norfolk garages. Availability will be updated on Infoline. Call 640-5555, category 4378 (HFST).
Visitors should arrive early; some areas will be restricted because of street closures. Waterside Drive will be closed from 10 a.m. Friday to 6 p.m. Sunday. Other streets may be closed as congestion occurs.
PARKING RATES:
$5 a day: Boush Street garage and lot, College Place lot, Plaza One garage, Plume Street lot, Town Point garage, Waterside garage.
$4 a day: City Hall lot, Court Street lot, Educational Building lot, federal lot, Freemason Street garage, Freemason Street lot, MacArthur lot, Market Street garage and lot, Harbor Park, Union Street garage, St. Paul's lot.
$3 a day: Arena lot, Brambleton lot, Bute Street garage, Lot 56, Monticello lot, York Street lot.
$2 a day: Scope garage; regular fees at Main Street and City Hall garages.
Parking for the disabled - Town Point Garage on Main Street is free with a handicapped license plate or decal; other public parking areas will have handicapped spaces available at regular fees.
Elizabeth River Ferry - Departs every 15 minutes from Portside and Waterside. Hours: 7 a.m. to midnight Friday, 8:30 a.m. to midnight Saturday, 9 a.m. to midnight Sunday. One-way fare is $1 per person; 50 cents for handicapped and senior citizens.
Fleet Launch Service has been canceled. In past years, the service provided transportation to shore for those who anchored boats in the Elizabeth River.
SEAWALL FESTIVAL

Parking is available in downtown Portsmouth, adjacent to Olde Towne and Portside. Visitors should arrive early; depending on crowd size, access to the festival is sometimes restricted on Saturday night.
Garages - Harbor Court, Crawford Street adjacent to Portside; Crawford Square, near the City Hall complex on Crawford Street; Edinburgh Square, corner of County and Crawford streets. Rates: $2 per day.
Some free parking is available at Port Centre, an industrial/business park adjacent to the Downtown Tunnel. A free shuttle service will be provided Saturday from 7 to 11 p.m.
Parking for the disabled - Available in the First Union Bank parking lot, Crawford Street and London Boulevard. Friday after 6 p.m. and during festival hours Saturday and Sunday; free.
