HESTER B. WATSON

{LEAD} Hester B. Watson of the 2400 block of Virginia Beach Blvd., a homemaker, died May 31, 1994, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Watson was born in Painter, Va. She was the daughter of the late Belle and George S. Rodgers and was the widow of Johnnie Watson. She was a member of Mount Lebanon Baptist Church for more than 50 years and was a member of Hick's Memorial Club, Female Usher Board, Choir, Sunday School and was sponsor of the Ronnie Joyner and Minnie Madrey Usher Board. She attended the public schools in Accomack County.

{REST} Survivors include nieces, nephews, cousins, one sister-in-law and a host relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Mount Lebanon Baptist Church by Dr. Ronnie D. Joyner. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. A wake will be from 6 to 7 p.m. today in Hale Funeral Home. The remains will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. Family and friends will assemble at the church at 12:45 p.m.
