WILLIAM P. WEAVER II

{LEAD} William P. ``Bill'' Weaver II, 50, died June 2, 1994, in a Norfolk hospital.

Mr. Weaver was born in Miami, Fla., but lived in this area all of his life. He was formerly a mortgage banker. He was also a musician and played the saxophone and clarinet. He was a member of Talbot Park Baptist Church; a former founding member of the Chesapeake Bay Bear Cats Dixieland Band; and a former member of the original Bill Deal & the Rhondels. He was a 1977 graduate of the University of Richmond, having received a bachelor of commerce degree. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam era.

{REST} Survivors include one son, W. Paul Weaver III of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; his parents, Paul and Irene Weaver of Norfolk; one sister, F. Suzanne Weaver, Ph.D., of Lancaster, Pa.; aunts and uncles, Myrtle and Bob Dakos of Norfolk and Frank and Amy Litter of Winter Garden, Fla.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, by Dr. Harry T. Dixon. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
