{LEAD} James Michael ``Mike'' Rohr, 22, of the 5100 block of Stratford Chase Drive, died June 3, 1994, in Virginia Beach.

He was born in Pinehurst, N.C., and was employed with Everett's Produce. Mike was a 1991 graduate of Kempsville High School. He had been active in the DeMoley in his younger years. Mike was an avid surfer who so enjoyed hunting, playing pool, working on his computer and all outdoor activities.

{REST} Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Doris A. Weaver and Sam Weaver of Virginia Beach; his father and stepmother, James Franklin Rohr and Linda Rohr of Dallas; one stepbrother, Sam Oscar Weaver of Chesapeake; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Locklear of North Carolina; paternal great-grandmother, Nela Erlander of Dallas; and numerous aunts and uncles.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. Leslie Smith. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
