THELMA R. WATFORD

{LEAD} Thelma Reid Watford of the 2100 block of Chestnut St., died June 1, 1994, in Virginia Beach General Hospital.

Mrs. Watford was born in Portsmouth and was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.

{REST} Survivors include four sons, Otto S. Reid of Washington, D.C., Roy L. Watford III, Evelio Watford and Anthony Watford, all of Portsmouth; two sisters, Delores J. Clanton and Audrey M. Brown; and two brothers, Lawrence E. Brown and Raymond J. Brown, all of Portsmouth; and four grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Ebenezer Baptist Church by the Rev. Ben A. Beamer Sr. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery. Viewing began Friday at noon in Corprew Funeral Home. The family will be at the funeral home from 6 to 7:30 p.m. today. The body will be taken to the church prior to the service.
