ALLAN S. ADEN

{LEAD} Allan Sharp Aden of Petersburg, died Friday, June, 3, 1994, at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

Mr. Aden was the son of the late Walter Allan and Annie Laurie Sharp Aden. He was co-founder and president of Rawles-Aden Lumber Corporation; a graduate of the University of Texas and Virginia Tech. He was a leader in the lumber, millwork and hardwood flooring industry for over 40 years. Mr. Aden was a former director of North American Wholesale Lumber Association.

{REST} He is survived by his wife, Nancy White Aden; daughter, Laurie Lee Aden Key of Cary, N.C.; two sons, William Allan Aden of Blacksburg and Jack Sharp Aden of Midlothian; two sisters, Mrs. Tom L. Beauchamp of Dallas and Mrs. Dow Huggins of Denton, Texas; and six grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted at St. Mark's United Methodist Church, Petersburg, at 2:30 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. Carleton Casey, pastor, will officiate. Interment services will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark's United Methodist Church, 225 Claremont St., Petersburg, Va. 23805 or Southside Virginia Emergency Crew, P.O. Box 574, Petersburg, Va. 23804. J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, Petersburg, is handling arrangements.
