GATEWOOD BROCK

{LEAD} Gatewood Brock, 85, died June 2, 1994, in Virginia Beach.

Mr. Brock was born in Norfolk and was the widower of Betty McPherson Brock. He worked for 44 years in the fertilizer business, including 25 years with Robertson Chemical Corp. of Norfolk. He retired in 1973 after 10 years with W.R. Grace & Co., successors to Robertson Chemical Corp. He was a graduate of Maury High School and Washington & Lee University.

{REST} Survivors include two sons, Robert Gatewood Brock of League City, Texas, and Thomas Randolph Brock of Virginia Beach; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday.
