{LEAD} Derrick R. McCoy of the 1000 block of Whitehurst Landing Road died June 1, 1994.

Survivors include his wife, Marie W. McCoy; a daughter, Natasha Edmonds of Chesapeake; his parents, Undine G. McCoy of Virginia Beach and John T.F. McCoy Sr.; a sister, Sonya M. Alexander of Virginia Beach; two brothers, Thomas F. McCoy Jr. of Norfolk and Darren K. McCoy of Virginia Beach; and a grandparent, Roy Gordon of Norfolk.

{REST} A funeral will be held at noon Monday at Gordon Chapel A.M.E. Church, Chesapeake. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Pretlow & Sons Funeral Home, Chesapeake, is handling arrangements.
