MARY S. SMITH

{LEAD} Mary S. Smith, 67, of the 1300 block of Seaboard Ave., Apt. (NU)4, a loving mother and housewife, died June 3, 1994, in Chesapeake.

Mrs. Smith was born in Stanton, Va. She was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church and was the widow of Charles Smith.

{REST} Survivors include four daughters, Connie Schadenfroh of Baltimore, Md., and Kathy Foy, Deborah Piland and Donna Wilson, all of Chesapeake; two sons, Charles Smith and Mark Smith, both of Chesapeake; three sisters, Jenny Baker, Ellen Cross and Ann Campbell; a brother, Donnie Sprouse; 16 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Chesapeake Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Joseph Carson. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel, is handling arrangements. The family will receive friends after the service at 1941 Miller Ave., Chesapeake.
