KENNIE L. DAVIS SR.

{LEAD} Kennie L. Davis Sr., 72, of the 900 block of Hugo St., a retired construction worker, died June 3, 1994, in Virginia Beach.

Mr. Davis was born in Colerain, N.C., the widower of Florence Ellen Perry Davis. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a Purple Heart recipient. He was a Baptist.

{REST} Survivors include three daughters, Frances Harvatin of Clifton, N.J., Loraine Bland and Joyce Arney, both of Norfolk; a son, Ken Davis Jr. of Norfolk; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Hampton National Cemetery by the Rev. John D. Sykes Sr. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, from 2 to 6 p.m. Monday.
