{LEAD} Kevin A. Padilla, 25, of the 900 block of Culver Lane, died June 1, 1994, in his residence.

Mr. Padilla was born in Peekskill, N.Y. He was a certified automotive technician who graduated from the Lincoln Technical Institute.

{REST} Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Padilla of Wilmington, N.C.; his mother and stepfather, Chris Wilke and Richard Wilke of Virginia Beach; his father and stepmother, James E. Padilla Sr. and Christina Padilla of Hopewell Junction, N.Y.; a brother, James E. Padilla Jr. of Manchester, Iowa; maternal grandparents, Ray and Barbara Puff; paternal grandmother, Consuella Padilla; sister-in-law, Caroline Padilla; niece and nephew, Dawn and Alex Padilla; stepsister and stepbrother, Michael and Stacy Wilke; mother-in-law, Jo Cardillo of Wilmington, N.C.; father-in-law, Joel Cardillo of Westchester, N.Y.; brother-in-law, Craig Cardillo of Wilmington, N.C.; numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today in Parish of the Holy Spirit by Fr. Thomas J. Caroluzza and Patrick Golden. Burial will be in Colonial Grove Memorial Park. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Neck Chapel, is handling arrangements. The family will receive friends at the residences.
