HOMER D. DOELL

{LEAD} Homer D. Doell, 75, a retired lieutenant commander, died June 5, 1994, in his residence.

Mr. Doell was born in Newton, Kan. He had retired from the U.S. Navy Reserve as an aviator. He had also retired from Naval Intelligence Service. He was the widower of Edith Aliene Doell and a Navy veteran of World War II.

{REST} Survivors include a daughter, Gertrude ``Trudy'' H. Milleson of Norfolk; a sister, Norma Doell Walker of Newton, Kan.; grandsons, William W. Milleson Jr. and John S. Milleson, both of Norfolk; great-grandchildren, John S. Milleson Jr., Monique Ashley Milleson and Kristan Abigail Milleson, all of Norfolk; and one nephew, Judge Richard Walker of Newton, Kan.

The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. Fred W. Bates. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, is handling arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the Veteran's Affairs Medical Center, Bldg. 114, Pallative Care Unit, Hampton, Va. 23365.
