Elder Wynn was born in Norfolk and was a lifelong resident of the Campostella Community. He was a member of the United House of Prayer For All People in the Berkley section of Norfolk. He retired in 1983 from Norshipco shipyard. He was a World War II Marine veteran.
{REST} Survivors include his wife, Margaret L. Wynn; two sons, Elder Eugene I. Wynn II of Portsmouth and Elder Don W. Wynn of Chesapeake; two daughters, Mrs. Mozella W. Delk of Virginia Beach and Mrs. Connie W. Hampton of Chesapeake; one sister, Mrs. Katie W. Moorman of Norfolk; two brothers, Elders William Wynn Sr. and Eugene Wynn I of Norfolk; and nine grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents, Bennetter S. Wynn and Weston Wynn.
A funeral will be conducted by Elder Eddie Elliott Sr. at 5 p.m. Wednesday at the United House of Prayer For All People, Virginia Beach, 4426 Princess Anne Road. Burial will be at Roosevelt Memorial Cemetery at 10 a.m. Thursday. The family will receive friends at Hale Funeral Home from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday and other times at the residence of James and Connie Hampton, 2516 Rock Creek Drive, (Georgetown Point), Chesapeake.
