MAYBELLE S. BARNES

{LEAD} Maybelle Snowden Barnes, 69, died June 5, 1994, in a local hospital.

Mrs. Barnes was born in Norfolk. She was the widow of Charles E. Barnes Sr.

{REST} Survivors include two sons, Charles E. Barnes Jr. of Norfolk and Walter E. Barnes of Virginia Beach; three sisters, Maxine Poston, Edna E. Cartwright and Johnnie Gay Walker; and a grandson, Christopher Barnes of Norfolk.

The funeral will be conducted at 4 p.m. Thursday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel. Burial will be private in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home Wednesday from 7 to 8 p.m.
