{LEAD} Albina Catan Torres, 61, of the 9300 block of Capeview Ave., died June 3, 1994, in a Raleigh, N.C., hospital.

She was a homemaker who was born in the Philippines. She was Catholic.

{REST} She is survived by her husband, Pedro Torres of Norfolk; five daughters; four sons; three brothers; and 11 grandchildren.

The graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by Father Santiago C. Frias. Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is handling the arrangements. A prayer service will be held today at 7 p.m. followed by visitation until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
