BERKETT B. HAYWOOD SR.

{LEAD} Berkett B. Haywood Sr., 68, of the 12300 block of Doles Road, died June 4, 1994, in Maryview Medical Center.

He was born in Southampton County and was the widower of Mildred C. Haywood.

{REST} He is survived by one daughter, Brenda D. Poole of Franklin; one son, Berkett ``Tonee'' Haywood Jr. of Zuni; his mother, the Rev. Minnie L. Haywood of Zuni; one sister, Inell Blount of Norfolk; two grandchildren; and a god-daughter, Jalissa Parker of Zuni.

The graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Church of God Cemetery by the Rev. John D. Davis. Engram Funeral Home, Inc., Courtland, Va., is handling the arrangements.
