THE PRICE OF ADMISSION: A CAN OF FOOD

{LEAD} Admission to the Lost Colony's Annual ``Dare Night'' performance June 9 is free for county residents who bring one or more canned or dried food items to donate to the Dare County Food Pantry.

Canned fruits and meats, canned or dried milk products and paper products and toiletry items are the most requested articles, according to food pantry officials.

{REST} Proof of county residency is required, and children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent. Gates open at 7:30 p.m. For more information, call the Lost Colony at 919-473-2127.
