HILLS STORES TO OPEN IN RICHMOND

{LEAD} Hills Stores Cos. has signed agreements and plans to open two full-line discount stores in the Richmond area during the fall of this year. Hills will occupy a 102,000 square foot store in the Parham Plaza on Parham Road next to Regency Square Mall, and a 100,000-square-foot store in a strip center on Midlothian Turnpike across from Cloverleaf Mall. This represents Hills' first entry into the greater Richmond market area. Hills Stores Cos., in business since 1957, operates 151 stores in 11 Midwestern and mid-Atlantic states.
