Sterling, who operates the Princess Anne Inn, right next to the Norwegian Lady statue at 25th Street and Atlantic Avenue, has had sand between his toes since he was born into a family of Beach innkeepers back in the '50s. Letters and photographs from former guests that line the inn's hallways attest to the family's history of hospitality.
